ESC of New England is a Boston-based Non Profit that provides fellow nonprofits in eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island with affordable capacity building and business management consulting services. Our programs are largely facilitated by a corps of over 130 volunteer consultants, all individuals living in the area with senior or executive-level experience with a range of expertise.

ESC’s mission is to enhance the overall impact of the nonprofit community by enabling organizations to operate more effectively to meet the needs of their constituencies. We conduct an average of 80 consulting engagements each year while simultaneously providing an opportunity for constructive, meaningful involvement for professionals who wish to contribute their knowledge, expertise and energy for the betterment of their communities. The organizations seeking ESC’s assistance range from start-ups with budgets under $50,000 to large, established, complex organizations with budgets exceeding $100 million.

ESC specializes in consulting for nonprofits in the following areas: governance, strategic management, strategic planning, contigency planning and strategic opportunities, business operations, business planning, financial management, program evaluation, human resource management, outcomes measurement, marketing and branding, fundraising, executive coaching, and facilitation.
